Russell&Kristyna | Oshkosh | 09.05.09

Russell & Kristyna had an amazing wedding event this past Saturday in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. It was an absolute blast!

Enjoy the Sneak Peeks...

It was the funniest... Lucy (the cutie pie doggie) was so scared of me, but boy, did I grab a bunch of cutsie shots of Lucy hiding in mommy's wedding dress and the two of them together.
Gorgeous outdoor ceremony right off of Main Street.

Love me my shoe shots!

Russell used to be a Jeweler. So, of course, they designed their wedding rings.... stunning!

The reception was held at Becket's on the Water, which is a newer restaurant that is very contemporary and stylish. ... and yummy!

A few last moments before entering their reception... let the party begin.

Awesome shot of the Bride and Gerald, friend of..... EVERYONE. Seriously, everyone knows this stylin' guy... and an incredible dancer! ... doin' flips and all, all over the dance floor.

I love twists on a wedding day... instead of a cake, they had a Chocolate Fountain for all to enjoy with fruit and pound cake.... mmmmmmm....
A dance underneath the stars.... beautiful!
Russell & Kristyna had a Photo Booth for they guests to enjoy... very fun!

Gloss Website Construction...

Posted by Jac | | Posted On 04 September 2009 at 10:12 AM

We just wanted to let everyone know the exciting news that Gloss is revamping the website for a more fabulous look & easier navigation. Also, Sam (Winters) Sumner has created some super dope music for the website... so no more elevator music.... YEAH!!!

We have been told for the next 24-48 hours things are going to get weird with the changing of the website, and instead of having everything all together offline, www.glossphotographystudios.com will reroute you to the Portraits Website: www.glossphotographystudios.net .... confused yet? Don't worry. Everything is right there on the website from: different galleries ranging from wedding to baby, and other information. Clients & Visitors trying to view recent work we have done with you, don't fret... the Proofing Site is still active.

We apologize for any inconvenience... this is kind of like the TV Repair Man- they have given us a window time frame. Nothing could be effected- or everything could be effected for up to 48 hrs. We have taken the best steps to ensure that this is the least annoying for you- by rerouting to an older website, but still giving you up-to-date information and doing this during a Holiday Weekend... where hopefully everyone will be out enjoying the weather and not stuck indoors:)

Thanks again for your patience. And have a great loooooong Holiday Weekend all!

Dan & Siri | Milwaukee | 08.30.09

Posted by Jac | | Posted On 02 September 2009 at 12:46 PM

This fun story goes way back to the actual engagement... Dan flew Siri to Thailand to ask for her father's permission... what a guy... right? And that was the start... or probably more like the middle... of this love story...

This wedding was full of Uniqueness and Tradition...

Enjoy the Sneak Peeks...

One of the bridesmaids asked me to take a photo with her camera... I was trying not to laugh because I thought it was a ridiculously large point & shoot digital camera... I was SO wrong... it ends up it is the coolest looking Polaroid camera ever! haha. Ends up its from Japan... of course.

I absolutely love these random shots down by Lake Michigan with the bikers in the background... pure awesomeness...
At first they couldn't keep a straight face... then the love trickled in... and it became a magical moment.

The Best man was giving a toast... I normally don't think these are too Sneak Peek worthy... but... Seriously, the man could not stop crying... Everyone was laughing hysterically... even the Best man... which made it even funnier... laughing... crying... laughing... crying... haha. Great!

These porcelein jars were brought here by the mother from Thailand for every guest to take home with them... so special.

Murray & Kaitlin | Mke Zoo | 09.28.09

Posted by Jac | | Posted On 01 September 2009 at 4:16 PM

What a beautiful Friday late afternoon to have held a wedding at the Milwaukee Zoo! I had so much fun shooting the wedding of Murray and Kaitlin... especially because they are crazy in love with eachother.

Enjoy the Sneak Peeks...
This is the beginning of a crazy adventure to find a peacock. Kaitlin's decor was all about peacock feathers... I mean... everywhere. So it was a definite mission of mine to find one at the zoo for some... 'portraits' ... We were running after them all over the place trying to get them near Kaitlin & Murray... and at the same time trying to rile them up so all their feathers would burst out (we failed to get a peacock that pissed at us... but still got some amazing frames)
Love champie shots... Love shoe shots...

A very special moment.

Kaitlin gettin' down on the dance floor... They had a super fun and crazy band that had everyone out on the dance floor the whole night. Awesome!
Thx guys for such an awesome day.
